Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Health Related Exercise and Physical Activity for Children)
Level 3 National diploma in Dance (distinction, distinction, merit)
IDTA freestyle dance teacher (highly commended)
BCA cheer coach level 4
UKCA level 2/3 cheer coaching qualifications
UKCA level 1 street cheer and UKCA Level 1 tumbling coach
ICF (international cheer federation ) level 4 cheer coach
Child protection designated officer
I have to say a big thank you to all the parents who have supported me over the years. You know who you are, you're all stars, these kids wouldn't be anywhere without you getting them to practise every week, paying subs, organising costumes, supporting them at competitions, encouraging extra practice and generally being wonderful!
Coach Lorielle
Hi my name is Lorielle McGrath. I am the assistant coach of Manchester Diamonds. In early 2007 I started out as a volunteer coach for Diamonds to get experience of working with children as I was doing a National Diploma Dance course at college. At the end of 2007 Sara offered me a job and I've never looked back.
Diamonds is not just a job to me, we are like a family. I've enjoyed every moment of being a part of this team.
Coach Donna (Director)
Coach Zanele
Treasurer Barbara (Director)
Hi I'm Barbara Hastings-Asatourian treasurer and one of the directors of Manchester Diamonds Cheerleading Squad. Coach Sara is my daughter - she is why I orignally became part of Manchester Diamonds. I'm absolutely passionate about two things - firstly health and fitness, I've been teaching all kinds of exercise classes myself since I trained in1996 and still teach 8 yoga classes every week. And secondly I'm committed raising young people's aspirations and helping them achieve their full potential in life. I can be actively involved in both of my passions through helping to run Manchester Diamonds. I'm a nurse, midwife and health visitor and until recently also taught nurses, so I understand child protection. I am also the director of 2 other successful companies so I can help with business things and will always be willing to advise about costing projects and making sure we can afford what we plan. I am very very proud to be a Diamond, and have had such a lot of fun being a Crystal too!.
